I think North Americans would be in a panic if they saw the pace of growth and construction - most of which is centrally controlled. During the visit I picked a copy of Fergusons, "The Ascent of Money" which provides some interesting perspectives on the impact of fat-tails - and a mis-calculation of their disruptive potential. I know you've cited Ferguson before, and I was wondering whether you'd be reviewing his latest publication as I'm always interested in your perspective. Iwan Tim
